BASIC SERVICES
Photofinish
GC Racing's FinishLynx photofinish camera captures each and every athlete as they cross the finish line and can handle any sprint finish no matter how close the athletes are. Perfect for any high speed sporting event. Working in conjunction with race officials, GC Racing's photofinish race equipment can record any finish aiding race officials with event scoring.
Results
Through the use of GC Racing's results software, race results can be collected and posted minutes after a race finishes. Podium places can be collected and posted within seconds of those riders finishing.
ADVANCED SERVICES
Timing
GC Racing's specialized camera & timing systems can establish a race time for every competitor. For time trial events, each athlete receives their own race time calculated by GC Racing's time trial software. For team time trials, GC Racing's photofinish camera captures the exact time of the 3rd rider ensuring all teams are scored correctly & accurately.
Stage Racing Timing & Results
With GC Racing's photofinish & timing equipment, Stage Race timing can be performed creating both individual Stage Results and General Classification results.
Registration Services
Race Promoters have multiple options on utilizing GC Racing for handling their event registration:
1) Day of Event Registration Services
GC Racing can assist race promoters for day-of-event registration. Utlizing both USA Cycling's and WSBA's membership databases, GC Racing can ensure all registration data is kept electronic & accurate eliminating the blunders of hand written registration lists.
2) Online Registration
Race Promoters can utilize online registration companies providing the online data to GC Racing to import into their results programs. In addition, GC Racing is able to provide promoters with a registration database that they can use at the event for day-of-event registration. By using online registration & electronic day-of registration, the need for hand written start lists is eliminated keeping all registration and results data electronic and accurate. Promoters select which online registration they prefer to use.
In addition to these registration services, GC Racing is capable of creating official start lists for the race officials, making available electronic versions of race results for media, sponsors, and race officials, producing the multiple copies of race results required at an event, and posting event results on GC Racing's website, USA Cycling, and WSBA.
